It, or more accurately 'she,' is the Opera Clown....a failed singer,
one who mimics records and calls it singing, an ass-dribbling musical
moron who has a Zinka Milanov tampon collection. JAG

Well, it really depends upon who you are to give an accurate
description of someone who obviously is so popular that his name is the
title of a thread, as it has been before.
My genuinly objective knowledge of this person tells me the
following:

1. He is a very generous person
2. He loves teaching students foreign languages
3.he has a decent bass-baritone voice and has sung 50 roles.
4. He has one of the largest live opera collectins in the history of
mankind,although Ed Rosen has more Tucker and Merrill stuff.
5. He is totally normal,as compared to about 10 people here..not that
this is very helpful,considering their mental states.
6. He thinks Derek Jeter sings a much better Wintereisse than Dietrich
Fischer-Dieskau.
7. There is very little "gray about him..you either love him or hate
him .(I personally do not see how anyone cannot love him)
8. He has nice legs,even after age 21.
9. Virginia Zeani is his adopted big sister,despite her chest.
10. He is on so many opera forums,and has so many of his own (e.g.
www.handelmania.com) for the purpose of sharing his collection with
others, that they are thinking of changing the word "yahoo" to
"Charlie".

he sounds like bostridge with the other testicle in mid-amputation.

on thr other hand, fidi is a lifetime .350 hitter, hits with power,
executes the hit and run as well as anyone in the game, runs the bases
with speed and daring, and is a shortstop with astonishing range, a
rifle arm, can go to his right as well as his left, and has a fabled
ability to take the cutoff throw and choke off too ambitious attempts to
